Technology For Results
Specialized manual therapy. Applied functional biomechanics. It sounds technical—the end goal is getting you back on your feet. We don’t stop at merely diagnosing your symptoms. We also work to speed your recovery, prevent further injury, and get you back to game readiness, all while communicating with your regular doctor. It’s a challenge, but we’re up to it. Are you?
Commonly Treated Injuries
Physical therapy treatments, especially
MRT®, can benefit anyone who has a connective tissue problem, such as those
due to surgeries, scars, immobilization, radiation therapy, postural connective tissue
adaptation, joint dysfunction, muscle spasms, trauma, chronic pain, women’s
health issues, and neuromuscular conditions. Conditions such as ACL and rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic procedures, tendonitis, low back pain, muscle strains and joint sprains are commonly treated at Mettler Athletic with excellent long-term results. Also, people who have injuries that have not responded well to other forms of physical therapy
or medical treatments are good candidates for MRT®.
New Patients
If you’ve scheduled an appointment
for a free consultation, you may fill out our physical
therapy consultation form before you come in. This will help the therapist
learn more about your condition and allow more time for the initial evaluation.
If you’re a new therapy patient, you can print and complete our new patient information form prior to your first appointment. This saves time at your first appointment, and also helps us to understand your current physical well-being, which will enable us to give you the best, most informed care.
You can also download and read our
policies on fees and insurance claims
for more information on how we deal with payments and different insurance providers.
All Mettler patients are required to sign this policy statement before treatment,
so if you have time, it may be helpful to read beforehand.
