The best part of my job is working with young athletes and helping them realize their athletic potential.
My favorite thing to do outside of work is I’m currently a grad student, so all my time outside of work is spent planning for the classes I teach or doing course work for my own classes.
I recharge by playing my guitar, drawing, or taking random pictures and playing with them in Photoshop.
My favorite sport to watch is baseball. Go Cubs, go!
My favorite sports to play
are baseball and golf.
My favorite sports hero is
Ryne Sandberg.
My role models are
my parents.
My favorite form of exercise
is strength training and sports.
My favorite group fitness
class is group fitness isn’t my thing.
My drinks of choice are
Dr. Pepper and water.
Early bird or night owl?
Night owl!
I decided to help athletes
move to the next level because I didn’t always have good guidance
from my coaches in the past, but always felt that it was important for an athlete
to be helped on their path to success.
One training/conditioning
mistake a lot of athletes make is trying to do things too fast before
they can perform them properly.
Before I start training an
athlete it’s important to Evaluate their overall athletic ability and
assess their training goals.
I most enjoy working with
athletes that want to work hard to achieve their potential.
The athletes I’ve been
most pleasured to work with are those who want to give 100%.
I most enjoy watching athletes
improve through hard work and dedication.
I enjoy helping athletes
achieve their goals and establish new ones once they’ve been reached.
My least favorite training
exercise is distance running.
Strength or cardio?
Definitely strength.
