The best part about my job
is the variety that it brings. One day I’m working with volleyball players and the next I'm doing personal training.
My favorite thing to do outside
of work is go shopping, run, or hang out with friends and family!
I recharge by exercise or a great massage always helps.
My favorite sport to watch
is volleyball or college football.
My favorite sport to play is volleyball
My sports hero is Sam Hardwick (former Bradley setter).
My role model is
my older sister.
My favorite form of exercise is a great run outside.
My favorite group fitness class is kickboxing.
My drink of choice is
grape Propel.
Early bird or night owl?
I can be either, so it depends on the day.
I decided to help athletes
move to the next level because I’ve been in their position before. I know the level that competitive sport has risen to, and I want to help athletes achieve their goals.
One training/conditioning
mistake a lot of athletes make is sacrificing quality to quantity. (More isn’t always better.)
Before I begin training an
athlete, it’s important to assess them. If you don't have a baseline, progress is hard to measure.
I most enjoy working with
athletes who are motivated and hard working with a positive attitude.
The athletes I’ve been most
pleasured to work with are those who aren’t too critical of themselves but know when they’re not at their best and work hard to improve.
I most enjoy watching athletes who are team players.
I enjoy helping athletes improve their volleyball skills and their leadership skills.
My least favorite training
exercise is walls sits, especially at the end of a work out.
Strength or cardio? Hmmm, too hard to pick either one! Both are important.
